SUPERBOWL CHAMPS (BALTIMORE RAVENS)

lions aint making it all the way. my super bowl picks is saints vs ravens. ravens win it

“SUPERBOWL CHAMPS (BALTIMORE RAVENS)” from your lips to God’s ears. Go Ravens!

Lions will not beat the packers in the playoffs. Don’t be jumping on the bandwagon just yet. I don’t know about the AFC but in the NFC it will either be Green Bay or New Orleans. My money in on Green Bay though. If there defense starts playing like they did last year and the offense plays how they have been playing Green Bay has a chance to repeat.

saints 13-3 packers 14-2 who wins don’t know but they will play the 12-4 pats or the 11-5 ravens. the win of superbowl 46 the fans, because any way you slice it it will be a game for the ages.
I think the saints can do it but it’s early and I am a Saints fan…

@Roger619 I actually do think the Lions will show some upside late in the season.. they’ll start off slow like at 1-6 but Matthew Stafford will start showing what he can do.. Him and Calvin Johnson Jr. will be dangerous and threatening like shaub and johnson.. I actually see them gettin in the playoffs the 2011-2012 season if they build on defense and add another reciever to compliment stafford
@Eric You will see actually how good the eagles are! Kevin Kolb will be a beast next year.. D. Jackson is a beast.. They have one of the best recieving team in the league! D Jack (top 10 WR), Jeremy Maclin, Trent Celek!!! And if LeSean McCoy have a good season they’re gonna be dangerous!!! U mite be rite about the Lions I didnt get the chance to look at there schedule
@FAVRE How can you possibly think that the Ravens will get worse this year than last year.. doesnt make any sense

Solid.

EDIT: I honestly don’t see the Ravens doing that good this year

And the Eagles TE is Brent, not Trent and they have some young talent, but they arent going anbywher till they mature into good players, not for another couple years, then they’ll be a playoff team

Well l don’t see the Colts getting the SB l know you have since of humor by picking the Lions to finish 7-9

I still think that the Steelers, end up about 10-6, and make the playoffs

after that
it’s anyones guess?

You have the Raiders going 1-15, Lions going 7-9, and you are very conservative with most your picks, so I’d say you need to read up more before you do this.

I like “FAVRE (YEAH, HE’S COMING BACK)”s prediction much better.

It all depends on Matt Leinart. Thus far he hasn’t lived up to billing, but now that Warner’s gone he’s the starter by default. I say he has one year to prove himself a worthy starter or he’s gone in 2011.

I’m just afraid that San Fran is on the rise so I see you guys fighting for a Wildcard behind them in the division.

hello

Without Kurt Warner they’ll be lucky if they can win 6 games.

7-9.

That is kind of a tough schedule.
I do however think Leinart will have a good statical season.
Losing Warner is a punch to the gut (even with him they went 9-7/10-6) and they lost Boldin; Breaston has to step it up – along with other positions they lost.
They have no running game.
Warner should have stayed for one more season.

100% will not make the playoffs,The loss of Hall of Famer Kurt Warner is too much to overcome,Leinhart is not nearly the professional QB to say the least.Losses of Boldin,Dansby and Rolle further diminish a once good team. 5-6 wins book it Dano!

9-7 at best

NFC West Predictions for 2010-2011?

I am going to give my predictions for the NFC West now

San Francisco 49′ers :: 10-6 :: This is the year, finally the 49′ers will get something going, it’s been too long people have been waiting to see this team at 100% and I believe this year they will deliver.

Seattle Seahawks :: 6-10 :: The Seahawks will definitely be better than last year, but Carroll and this team will have it rough, I actually think that Hasselbeck won’t be able to perform and they will give the keys to Whitehurst halfway through the season.

Arizona Cardinals :: 5-11 :: Anquan Boldin gone will hurt them and they will get 5 wins this year, Leinart will be interesting to see if he can show he is going to make a step and prove he is what everyone thought of him when he came out of USC.. I don’t think It will happen this year though

St.Louis Rams :: 2-14 :: The season of St.Louis will involve Bradford on his butt at least 60 times, or out with a Broken arm or leg, it will be said to see this team this year.

Your predictions, Overall a weak division minus the 49′ers this year, but improving

agreed!
maybe the rams win 3 games

Well, I cant say it better than that. You hit the nail right on the head.

I was a little shaky about your analysis of the NFC North, but I couldn’t agree any more with how you view the NFC West. The 49ers were not only very good last year, but they have all the potential to IMPROVE this year. I don’t feel bad taking a shot at them going 11-5 if you think that they should get at least 5 wins in division. Their defense will statistically be on top of the NFC because of their weak schedule, Frank Gore is an elite back, and Michael Crabtree will emerge as a top 10 WR.
Seahawks I feel are the hardest to predict here. We don’t know how Carroll will do back in the NFL, we don’t know how their run game will play out with Forsett and Washington, their QB situation even has some questions with the investment in Whitehurst. If they can at least be serviceable on offense, which hasn’t come easy to them of late, I think 7-9 is do-able. Their defense usually plays well at home and I think most of their rookies can make an impact this year, namely Okung, Thomas, and Tate. I think they can get most of their projected 7 wins from within the division and against the AFC West alone.
Cardinals should be in for a rough season. No one trusts Leinart, Beanie Wells has to be a huge playmaker if they want to be successful, and there are still many questions that linger with their defense. Fitzgerald will get his numbers and their run defense is still rock solid, but it will take more than that for this team to be successful. I only see them going beyond 5-11 or 6-10 if Leinart is better than we think or their pass defense steps it up. Hopefully for them, both happens.
What can you say about the Rams? Bradford should be OK, Steven Jackson is still the man, and Atogwe is one of the best secondary guys in the game. But what else do you got? A whole lot of nothing. Their young LT Jason Smith will make some strides, but other than that this season will probably be a waste to help Bradford mature and to guarantee another top 3 pick to come to St. Louis and help this rebuilding project.
My personal projections:

49ers 11-5
Seahawks 7-9
Cardinals 5-11
Rams 2-14

Once again, pretty good predictions. Not really anything I can argue here, maybe give or a take a win or two from the Seahawks. And you pretty much got the 49ers prediction right, but I don’t think they’ll get double digit wins this year; not a consistent QB. I have them winning the division at 9-7.

Besides that, pretty good predictions again.

I agree with your 49ers, Rams, and Cardinals picks but i think the Seahawks will finish 8-8.

Nice predictions, here’s mine.

San Francisco 49ers – 10-6. The 49ers finally have an offensive line, and that should help Alex Smith immensely. I also think their draft pickups will really help this team, and the experience factor along with confidence has risen. It’s an easy division for San Francisco to win, so I see them taking the top seed.

Arizona Cardinals – 9-7. A question still hovers over Matt Leinart, but the Cardinals do still have some talent. Larry Fitzgerald will still be at his best, and the young defense is finally looking to step up. We’ve seen glimpses of Matt Leinart in recent years, so he shouldn’t fail totally. The Cardinals may not be as dominant as they previously were though.

Seattle Seahawks – 7-9. Despite their impressive Draft, a ton of concerns still face Seattle. Matt Hasselbeck is beginning to look old, and his accuracy is still a question. However, with Pete Carroll at the helm, I see Seattle posting a handful more wins than they did in 2009. It won’t be a total franchise turn around, but it will leave for a promising future.

St. Louis Rams – 6-10. I think Sam Bradford will really step up for St. Louis. At the end of the day though, there is a lack of wide receivers, cornerbacks, and solid linebackers. The biggest problem for St. Louis is the teams facing them, as they never seem to have an answer for potent offensive attacks. I see the same happening this year, with a slight improvement.

  1. Eric says:

The Raiders 1-15? They are going to suprise everyone this year. Remember last year, they won like 4 or 5 games, and they were all against very good teams. I think the Raiders win at least 7 games.

Lions won’t win 7 games, Have you even looked at their schedule? It’s ridiculously hard. They’ll win 5 max.

Philly is the most overrated team in football. Last year, they beat 1, yes 1 team in the regular season with a .500 or better record (just go back and look).and that was the Falcons when they were missing Matt Ryan and Michael Turner. This is going to be a terrible year for Philly.

Cowboys and vikings only 9 wins? Wow

I could actually go on and on, you made a lot of BAD predictions

  2. Sam says:

-chargers are in a tougher division than the past few years, but still better than only 9 wins.
-oakland is a good team. their qbs, campball and gradkowski are good and so is their defense. they cant do worse than last year with russel starting
-green bay will not be better than the vikings. the vikings even LOST both of their games to them. they will maybe win 1 game against the vikings
    - detroit will be decent in a few years, but not shoot up 7 games better than last year. their division is stacked
    - tampa isnt that bad. remember THEY BEAT THE SAINTS and finished with 6-8 wins in thier last 8 games! they are even more experienced than last year
-dallas 9-7? so you think that in the nfc east, the giants and eagles can beat the colts, vikings, saints, houston, and each other in the regular season. dallas returned 20/22 starters while the eagles had lost their good starting qb.
-and you think that with all their injuries, the giants can beat out the cowboys? yeah they swept them last year, but the fell off the map and still didnt have as many injuries as they have this year.
-seahawks are going to be better than 6 wins IF they stay healthy. last year, by their first regular game, they lost 11 starters to injury.

I know I’m biased, but…a 1-15 record for the Raiders?
I’ll use some of your words here…”How can you possibly think that the” Raiders “will get worse this year than last year.. doesnt make any sense”.

Though I guess I can’t REALLY be surprised if you say something like, “U mite be rite about the Lions I didnt get the chance to look at there schedule” and then go on to predict a record…

What do I think of your predictions?
I think they’re…generally right, though given a prediction here and there (Raiders, Eagles, Cowboys, Redskins) and what you’ve added in response to some answers, any credibility you might have had, went out the window.

  6. landon_redding13 says:

I mostly agree, except I think the Cowboys will have a stronger season. They do have the 3rd toughest schedule, but they’ve added Dez Bryant, Sean Lee, and some other great assets, and they look poised to have a great year with Romo finally passing great and the emergence of Miles Austin.

    I say 11-5.

Da JETS have a great chance of going because they stacked up on OFFENSE and DEFFENSE. AFC NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, and WEST look good. NFC SOUTH looks good. TO me VIKES take first in da NORTH.
