Pakistan vs World XI matches?
An International Cricket Council (ICC) World XI will visit Pakistan in a gesture of support for a country which is unable to stage international cricket at home because of security threats.
England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) chairman Giles Clarke, writing in the September issue of the Wisden Cricketer magazine, said it was not yet possible for individual countries to resume normal tours.
“But with determination and courage an ICC World XI in due course will go and play against Pakistan in her great cities and there will be a marvellous atmosphere,” Clarke said.
“It will be an historic moment when international cricket resumes in Pakistan and the first ICC team walks out.”
Pakistan have not hosted an international match since armed gunmen attacked the Sri Lanka team bus in Lahore in March last year. Seven people were killed and six team members and a coach were injured. Clarke also said England would continue to stage neutral tests featuring Pakistan next year and in 2012. Pakistan played a two-test series against Australia this season.
He said the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) income had fallen from 27 million pounds ($ 42 million) to 10 million because of its international isolation.
“The ECB intends to assist in staging more Pakistan games here in 2011 and 2012,” Clarke said.
“The atmosphere, the passionate support and, of course, the tremendous cricket played by the Pakistan team made it a compelling experience. The PCB’s economic needs make it imperative.”

Finally the ICC are taking their hands out of their pockets and doing something! I think this is a great idea and should get good local crowds in, as long as the price of admission is fairly cheap. I would think a T20 would be played at least and I would love to see a T20 game, ODI and a test but don’t give your hopes up. I think World XI games should be played more often as they’ll get more crowds in and the quality of cricket will always be great. For the T20 game, I’d imgine that this could be a side taken: (presuming other international cricket doesn’t interfere)

I don’t get it,if it’s not safe ,why are they sending a team to play there? Or do they consider those players expendable?
The idea is great. Pakistan cricket needs help. and by not visiting Pakistan for international cricket we are not only depriving this cricket loving nation of this sport, but also succumbing to the terrorists.
yes i agree i think pakistan needs cricket back in its home ground especially after these floods i mean thats one of the few things pakistan could do to lighten the atmosphere there, and pakistan seriously needs to sort its security procedures out, i mean this is their chance now, if they mess up, it might cost them years and years of international games not being played at home!…but good look to them and by the why, I think Ricky Ponting should be in the line up…hes great!

NOTE: He is a two-time all-star and two time World Series Champion. He tends to struggle with location sometimes leading him to issue a high number of walks and he also gives up a lot of home runs. His WHIP ain’t the best either.
Well, it looks like he has been very valuable to his team because he was a two time all star and two time world champion, so I would think he is the face of the franchise. I would guess 6-7 years with 14-16 million dollars each year.

Although he may not have to best stamina or WHIP, He is still a valuable 1 or 2 starter and many teams would love to have a guy like him. I would go with and 8-10 year deal with around 75-100 mil.

Excellent ideas for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2012. THQ better hurry up and hire you to create the game because you indeed have talent. This could become the greatest WWE video game of all-time and perhaps, it might be better than WWF No Mercy and WWE SmackDown: Here Comes the Pain. I would purchase this game. I would rate your ideas a 10/10.

Some really nice ideas. WWE Enterprise mode in particular sounds great and I’d love to play it, and the song choices are good too because THQ always picks the bad songs that get really repetitive.
If THQ uses all of the elements you’ve suggested, it has the possibility to be the biggest and best WWE game EVER!
